1922 Hudson Super Six.
The condition I found my 1922 Hudson Super Six Motor Home.
There is no serial tag on the firewall.
I am a member of the Yahoo Hudson Super Six Motor Cars, 1916-1929 Group and there is a great amount of knowledge there.
I did not know what year the car was, the group told me to check for casting dates on the head and crankcase.
Sure enough, casting date on the top of the head 11-13-22.
Casting date on the top of the crank case flywheel housing 11-21-22
There is also suppose to be date stamps on the top of rear axle next to the backing plates
Serial number is suppose to be on the right frame rail either on the front or rear horn next to the spring perch.
The car was originally a 2 door sedan, not sure of the model yet.
Rumored history of the car, as seen here. A local sash and door company had setup to mill the logs you see.
they are large tongue and groove planks with the log siding look as part of the plank. They would build each of the walls
then erect on your site, hence the advertising on the front and back.
That is a Fat Man steering wheel.
I am looking for a Speedometer, actually for both my cars.
The wheels are different than my 25, no lock ring.
The field I found it in.
